Ariun Sanjaajamts, MBA
Founder of Mongolian Cultural Council, New York, USA
Ariun Sanjaajamts was born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and moved to New York City in 2010. She has over 30 years of work experience with international development organizations in Mongolia. Through working with US organizations and other international teams, she deeply understands the importance of learning from different cultures and creating peaceful cooperation.
She is passionate about promoting Mongolian culture through museums and cultural events to educate Americans about Mongolian culture. Since moving to New York, she has been working tirelessly to introduce her identity and background, and has partnered with the American Museum of Natural History, the Rubin Museum of Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and other cultural organizations to promote and introduce Mongolia. Since working with these organizations she has discovered that many opportunities exist to expand the Mongolian arts and education.
Munkhtsetseg Chultem
Mrs. Munkhtsetseg Chultem was born and raised in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In 2001 she completed her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Johns Hopkins University, USA. She also completed the Chairmen’s Programs of Harvard Business School, USA and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, UK in 2015 and 2016 . Munkhtsetseg has been the Chair of the Board of Golomt Bank since December 2013. Former consultant to the World Bank, her previous professional experience includes managerial and executive roles at the Mongolian Stock Exchange, Asian Development Fund, and Nepko Publishing Company.
Chinuukhei Bat-Erdene
He has been a public servant since 1996 and Mr.Chinuukhei joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2000. Currently he serves as Deputy Director General of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation of the MFA. Mr. Chinuukhei earned his Bachelor degree in international relations from the School of Foreign Service at the National University of Mongolia. He has a Master of Development Studies from the University of Melbourne. He speaks English and Russian. He is married and has three sons.
Allison Christie
Allison Christie has over 25 years of experience in management, community development and corporate social responsibility. After serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bayanchandmani, Mongolia, she spent over 12 years working as a trusted community engagement advisor in the extractive industry in Mongolia, China and Kazakhstan. Allison holds a Master of International Business Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. Allison grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her two sons. She works as the Chief Administrative Officer at The Blanchard Institute, a behavioral health facility. She remains connected to and passionate about Mongolia’s arts and culture.
Buyansan Goldstein
Mrs. Goldstein was born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology with BFA in Fashion Design with minor in Art History. Buyansan lives in New York City with husband and daughter Sidd.
Steve Goldstein
Steve Is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Tokio Marine America. Tokio Marine is one of the largest Property and Casualty insurers in the world. Steve is active in the New York City community and is the founder of the Beyond Basketball Foundation. Steve lives in NYC with his wife and their daughter Sidd.
Layton Croft, Chairman Erdene Resource Development; CEO, Pancontinental Resources Corporation, Board Member and Acting Executive Director, Mongolia Education Foundation
Layton Croft has been passionate about and deeply connected to Mongolia and Mongolian culture for the past 26 years and counting. He lived and worked and spent time in every part of Mongolia over a total 15 years. He remains actively involved in non-profit and for-profit organizations working in and for Mongolia, promoting cultural heritage research and protection, education and social development, and sustainable economic development
