Museum Educators' Roundtable
What is it?
Mongolian Museum Educators Round table is a long- term project with the goal of improving and developing museum educators’ skill development, networking, peer learnings, and exchange programs with the New York museums’ educators.
Mongolian museum education programs are fairly new. Currently the museum programs provide mostly art workshops that are based on an individual museum’s arts and objects. Often educators need support on professional development as well as career development. The MCC founder meets with the museums’ educators annually to mentor and direct their program, adapting programs of schools and teachers to Mongolian programs.
This program will not only improve the skills of educators it will also improve the museums’ education programs quality, diversity, and its connection with school programs, and teacher’s programs.
