US-MGL Kids Art Exhibit
what is it?
In 2015, the Mongolian and American kids’ art exchange program opened its first joint exhibition and art training at the Bogd Khaan Palace museum in Ulaanbaatar with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Mongolia. The project team works with the “International Youth Art Exchange” of the World Awareness Children’s Museum in Glenn Falls, New York.
Since then we have been organizing biennial exhibitions and providing art training on “Color” with Mongolian artists and museums such as the Bogd Khaan Palace museum, Mongolian National Contemporary Art Gallery, American Corner, The Fine Arts Zanabazar museum, Darkhan-Uul City museum, and Mongolian Art Gallery. We have exhibited works of more than 500 US and Mongolian young people.
We aim to expand this project, especially to children living in ger districts of Ulaanbaatar city, who have limited access to educational programs, museums, cultural organizations, and libraries.
Please support us on this mission to give opportunity to children and to see the world through their eyes.
